1. First and foremost, treat all staff and fellow members with a high level of respect. Disrespect is the one thing that will result in the offending user being instantly banned from the forum.
2. Keep profanity to a minimum. I understand that some words such as "bloody hell" and "damn" aren't a big deal, and that's fine. Any profanity used outside of the RP boards that are meant to be used in a derogatory way will not be tolerated. If it becomes a problem, profanity will be completely banned.
3. Follow the formatting guidelines when you are in the RP boards. They are not complicated by any means, and should be easy to follow. This will work much better if everyone uses the same format, hence the guidelines. Any violation of this rule will be addressed by a staff member. The post will be brought to the members attention by PM, and the staff member will explain any rules violated. This is your one chance to fix the formatting of your post without any consequences. If the problem isn't fixed immediately the post will be deleted. Continued violation of the formatting guidelines will result in the user being banned from the RP boards.
4. For the sake of organization, please post all threads in the appropriate boards. If you would like to request the creation of a particular board, please PM me (Nicole) and we can discuss the matter.
5. When the time comes that we need new staff members, a thread will be posted requesting applications. Please do not PM any staff members on the matter, as it will result in the deletion of your application.
6. If you have any suggestions for the forum or any particular board, do so in the "Suggestions" thread.
7. Any issues with another member should be brought to the attention of a staff member immediately, and we will deal with it accordingly.
8. No one may post for or control another member's character(s) under any circumstances. If you feel there should be an exception made for you, PM an appropriate staff member.
So far, this is a rather small forum, and we don't need a lot of rules in place. That may or may not change as we grow and gain new members, depending on if it is necessary or not.
